Psychologist, Dr. Brennan Whitley, is an expert in educational evaluation and neuropsych evaluation.  She identifies why a child is struggling in school or at home and connects them with resources and accommodations as needed.

Meet Dr. Brennan Whitley

Dr. Whitley is the founder of Spring Psychology. She is a licensed psychologist who specializes in neuropsychological assessment with children, teens, and adults.  She has extensive experience working with neurodiverse individuals who have learning differences (dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia), ADHD, and/or Autism. She is also the author of the picture book, The Dafoompah and Me: A Story for Children with Dyscalculia.

Prior to Spring Psychology, Dr. Whitley worked at Summit Center in the Bay Area for many years, where she specialized in working with Gifted and Twice-Exceptional individuals (i.e. Gifted plus a learning, attention, social, or emotional difference). Dr. Whitley has also provided assessment services in schools, community mental health centers, and medical clinic settings. Her other professional interests include working with members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Dr. Whitley holds a doctorate in Psychology from the Wright Institute and a BA from the University of California, Berkeley. She lives in Elk Grove, California with her husband and daughter. She works with families in the greater Sacramento area.
